The Publicly visible switch decides whether a finished still can appear in the public gallery — not whether the deep-imager AI image generator will run.
Default on. Turn it off before a client pack shot. Credits stay the same.
What does Publicly visible actually control?
When the toggle is on, a completed still can be listed in the public gallery; when it is off, the still stays in your own history.
The switch sits in the workspace next to generate. It is checked by default. Gallery cards come from completed public stills that are approved for display — not from every private draft.
Open the image gallery to see what other people marked public. Make Same only has a public still to copy when that still is in the gallery.
When should you turn Publicly visible off?
Turn it off before you generate a client SKU, an unreleased campaign, or any still you would not put on a public page.
Listing pack shots belong on the product photo use case and usually stay private. A mood test you want others to remix can stay public.
The toggle does not replace a tight brief. A public text to image still still needs a usable prompt if you expect Make Same to be useful.
- Client labels, faces, and unreleased products: off.
- Style tests and generic scenes you are willing to share: on.
- Do not flip it after generate expecting the last still to rewrite; set it before you click generate.
Does public vs private change the model or the credit?
No — you still pick the model and spend the same credit for text to image or image to image.
Nano Banana, GPT-4o image, and Midjourney-style paths all honor the same toggle. Image to image uploads are not a reason to leave the switch on if the source file is confidential.

Where does a public still show up after generate?
In the public gallery once it is completed and approved for display; private stills do not.
If it is not in the gallery, Make Same on that card will not exist for other people. Your own history still holds both public and private runs.
Do not generate twice to “make it public.” Check the toggle, then run once.
