What happens when the prompt is not allowed?
The API returns an error immediately. No generate job is created, and credits are not held for that click.

Read the message, change the brief, and try once. Do not mash Generate — each new allowed brief can still spend credits. See the FAQ on content limits.
How is that different from a failed still?
A failed still already started: status becomes failed, an error message is stored, and the pre-held credits are returned.
Output checks that reject a finished image follow that failed path — they do not rewrite gallery approval flags. Human review of public stills stays separate.

What if the safety check itself cannot run?
A network, config, or response failure is logged and the generate is allowed — you are not shown a fake block.
That fail-open rule is for the check service, not a way around a real rejection. If you did get an error, the brief was not allowed.
Image to image uploads still need a valid source. A rejected prompt on a remix stops before the edit spends a credit.
How should you retry without wasting the wallet?
Rewrite the subject so it stays within the rules, keep quantity at 1, and read the Generate button before the next click.
