deep-imager AI Image Generator: Failed Runs and Credit Refunds

|

On the deep-imager AI image generator, a product-marked failed run returns the credits you pre-spent — you are not charged for a broken still.

Wait for completed or failed. Do not buy a second ticket while the first is still in flight.

What happens to credits when a generate fails?

If the product marks the run failed, the pre-held credits are refunded to your wallet and that still no longer counts as a spent generate.

Generate reserves credits when you submit. A successful still keeps that spend. A failed still restores the batch so the balance matches “failures do not keep the charge,” as on how credits work.

This applies to text to image and image to image the same way. The mode does not change the refund rule.

Where do you see that a run failed?

In the message center: the item shows failed status, and an error note when the product returns one.

Open Messages in the top nav after you generate. Completed stills are ready to preview and download; failed items are not downloadable outputs. Read message center and downloads for the delivery path.

Do not treat a long queue as a failure. Typical still time is 30 seconds–2 minutes. Wait for completed or failed before you change the brief.

  • One Generate click per attempt.
  • Watch status in Messages, not the clock alone.
  • Fix the error note (prompt, upload, balance) before you retry.

Why should you avoid double-clicking Generate?

A second click starts a second run and can reserve a second credit while the first is still pending.

If the first run later fails, you get that credit back — but a second pending or completed run still spends its own cost. Image to image with a heavy upload is the same: wait, then decide.

For a cheap retry after a real failure, keep quantity at 1 and consider Nano Banana before a heavier model.

What is not a “failed run” refund?

A still you dislike but that completed successfully still spends credits; only product-marked failures refund.

Changing your mind about style or crop is a new generate. Insufficient balance blocks submit before a run starts. Prompt checks that reject before create also never open a failed still.

New accounts have 5 free credits. Plans on pricing from $1/month: Basic 10 credits, Advanced $9.99 for 120, Professional $19.99 for 300. Check the Generate button cost before you retry a batch.
